Abortion Doula Volunteer
Abortion doulas are non-medical support persons who help in the care of individuals who are experiencing abortion/loss. They provide support in the home-setting, or wherever the client choose to undergo the medical abortion procedure. You can volunteer with SPIRAL as an in-clinic doula through our partnership with Planned Parenthood, or as an at-home doula when SPIRAL receives a support request. We offer an doula trainings when possible for our volunteers.
